The Iconic Signal Iduna Park
The Conf3rence in Dortmund took place at the iconic Signal Iduna Park, home of Borussia Dortmund, a team renowned for its rich history and status as a Champions League finalist. Our event kicked off with an exciting stadium tour, giving us an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of Europe’s most storied football venues. This unique experience set the tone for an unforgettable conference.
Bridging Tradition and Innovation
The main event was an industry gathering aimed at bridging traditional finance with the emerging world of Web3. This intersection of established financial practices and cutting-edge blockchain technology created a vibrant atmosphere of innovation and collaboration. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from leading experts in both fields, fostering a deeper understanding of how these worlds can converge and thrive together.
Our Zero Knowledge Proof Presentation
Continuing our tradition of contributing to these major events, we were thrilled to take the stage once again. This time, we presented on the fascinating concept of zero knowledge proofs, using the beloved “Where’s Wally?” (or “Where’s Waldo?” for some) to illustrate how this technology works. Our engaging and interactive explanation helped demystify this complex topic, making it accessible and interesting to all attendees.
Side Event with Tezos Nomadic Labs
In addition to the main conference, we hosted an exclusive side event with Tezos Nomadic Labs. We extended an invitation to German students, creating a fantastic opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together students from different parts of Germany. Over drinks and lively discussions, we had the chance to connect and exchange ideas.
Release of Tezos Etherlink
The highlight of our side event was the release of Tezos’ new Layer Two solution, Etherlink. This innovative development promises to enhance the scalability and efficiency of the Tezos blockchain, and we were privileged to witness its unveiling firsthand. The event was not only informative but also a celebration of community and innovation, underscored by the enthusiasm and curiosity of all participants.
Conclusion
The Conf3rence in Dortmund was a resounding success for the European Students Blockchain Coalition. From the awe-inspiring stadium tour at Signal Iduna Park to our enlightening presentations and vibrant side event, it was an experience filled with learning, networking, and excitement. We left inspired and energized, eager to continue our journey in the blockchain space.
